Morillon & Samoens are super places to learn – arguably the best places to learn or improve your ski or snowboard skills. Chalet Gliere is perfectly positioned in one of the few ski areas ideal for all levels of skier & snowboarder. It’s where French families come to learn & ski together. 

Book your lessons early. After your chalet & travel, ski lessons should be next on the list.

We can definitely recommend Zig Zag – a Samoens based ski school with a range of lessons and activities in English/French, including the traditional ski/snowboard schools. We’ve seen particularly good results with private lessons and intermediate/advanced sessions.

We can also recommend Ecole de Ski 360, a small, friendly, expert group of English & French speaking instructors for both skiing and snowboarding. They run ski schools, or can do private/small group lessons, from beginners to experts, including guiding and freeride. Samoens based so ideal for your local slopes.

ESF are the biggest French ski school in the Alps, also offering individual and group lessons.

Ski Session is an independent ski school which is friendly, relaxed and English speaking. They also offer guiding.
